OXO Good Grips Chopper
To disassemble for cleaning:
- Press down and rotate the knob clockwise to lock it into place. You will see a dot next to the lock graphic when the knob is locked.
- Twist to remove the bottom cup and cover. Remove the wiper using side grips.
- Carefully unscrew the blade cartridge using side grips counterclockwise.
To reassemble:
- Screw the blade cartridge onto the Chopper body clockwise using side grips.
- Carefully align the blades on the Chopper with the wiper and attach them.
- Reattach the cup and bottom cover.
- When ready to use Chopper, unlock the knob.
To use:
- Remove the bottom cover and place the food in the chamber. Do not overfill; e.g., we recommend chopping onions in thirds for best results. Keep the wiper in place while using the Chopper for easy cleanup.
- Replace the cover and place it flat on the surface, or chop directly on the cutting board.
- Press the knob repeatedly to chop until the food reaches desired consistency.
- Remove cup from Chopper. Use a wiper to remove excess from the blades. Wash promptly after use.
Cleaning & Care
Keep the Chopper in the locked position with a bottom cap on when not in use for convenient storage. All parts are dishwasher-safe. If washing by hand, carefully clean the blades with a thin brush or sponge promptly after use.
