SPECIFIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR LITHIUM-ION BATTERIES

WARNING! To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, burst hazard, or injury to persons or property: Lithium-ion batteries are small, compact, and ideal for providing long-lasting power to this unit. However, they must be used and charged properly. Improper use can result in serious injury, fire, or death.

  • Lithium-ion batteries can explode in the presence of a source of ignition. Do not use the product in the presence of an open flame.
  • Do not place this lithium-ion battery-powered unit in fire or apply heat to it.
  • Do not subject this lithium-ion battery-powered unit to strong impacts or shocks. The battery in this unit contains safety and protection devices which, if damaged, may cause the lithium-ion battery to generate heat, rupture, or ignite.
  • Do not expose this lithium-ion battery-powered unit to water or salt water, or allow the battery to get wet.
  • Avoid storing this lithium-ion battery-powered unit in the basement, bathroom, or other areas of the house that are or may become wet or humid or where moisture may concentrate.
  • Do not leave this lithium-ion battery-powered unit in direct sunlight, or use or store the unit inside cars in hot weather. Doing so may cause the battery to generate heat, rupture, or ignite. Using the lithium-ion battery in this manner may also result in a loss of performance and a shortened life expectancy.
  • Never charge this unit near heat or flammable objects.
  • NEVER THROW WATER ON A BURNING lithium-ion Battery! If a lithium-ion battery does catch on fire, it will burn even more violently if it comes in contact with water or even moisture in the air. A fire extinguisher must be used.

Battery Charging and Capacity

This unit is delivered in a partially charged state – you must fully charge it before using it for the first time. When stored at room temperature with a full charge, Li-ion batteries will begin to discharge from the time they are manufactured, even when unused. Deep discharges also decrease their capacity. Lithium-ion battery life can be extended by the following:

  • Charge the battery to full capacity before storage.
  • The optimal storage temperature for this unit is between 5°C and 20°C (41°F and 68°F).
  • Never discharge the lithium-ion battery fully.
  • Charge after each use.
  • Always charge at least once every 3-6 months if not in frequent use to prevent over-discharge.

Transportation of Lithium-Ion Batteries

  • Always check all applicable local, national, and international regulations before transporting a unit containing a Lithium-Ion battery.
  • Transporting an end-of-life, damaged, or recalled lithium-ion battery may, in certain cases, be specifically limited or prohibited.

FAQ’S EverStart SL3HE Rechargeable Lithium-Ion LED Spotlight

What is an EverStart Maxx spotlight’s lumen output?

EverStart Maxx SL10LEDE 2200 Lumen USB Charging and Power Rechargeable Flashlight

How do EverStart products perform?

Customers who have utilized Walmart’s EverStart batteries have generally given them excellent feedback. The majority of customers are pleased with the cost and the product’s greater quality than that of competing brands. Another major benefit is that they require little to no upkeep.

What is the top available rechargeable flashlight?

The Goodsmann Rechargeable Flashlight or Hunting Spotlight is unquestionably the best option in terms of brightness and performance. The 1,000 lumen Streamlight Waypoint is a good second-place pick. With a maximum range of 1,600 feet, the Yierblue YBN-2000G Spotlight is unbeatable for distance.

How far can 5000 lumens light a room?

Your primary light source should provide about 5,000 lumens for a 250 square foot area on average (20 lumens x 250 square feet).

How far can a thousand lumens shine?

Depending on the lens or reflector design, a 1000 lumen rechargeable flashlight is quite bright and potent enough to illuminate an area up to 200 metres away. With this kind of rechargeable flashlight, you can see objects in the distance.

How far does 300 lumens of light shine?

Wow, 300 Lumens is more than adequate for the majority of applications, including searching for people or animals at a distance of 50 metres, comfortably illuminating a small space, and serving as a bicycle spotlight.

How much time does EverStart require to charge?

How long does it take to charge an Everstart Maxx alternator? The Everstart Maxx alternator typically needs 40.8 hours to completely charge a battery. This charger has a 51 amp capacity and a dynamic current battery level of 1.25 amps per hour.

How can my EverStart battery be tested?

Battery check: Attach the battery check to the battery terminals to determine the state of a 12 volt battery (red to positive & black to negative). The approximate voltage charge in the battery is indicated by the light that illuminates when the battery is in good condition. NO BATTERIES ARE NECESSARY.

What should a good spotlight have in terms of lumens?

Normally, spotlights need 120 lumens if you have them installed. It is advised to use path lights with 100 to 200 lumens along your walkway.

What wattage is ideal for a spotlight?

For outdoor lighting, 80 and lower wattages work well. For pathways, gardens, and other low-level locations, 40-watt lights can be used. For driveway lighting and lighting up bigger portions of your yard, 40 to 80-watt bulbs work well. Low-wattage bulbs are also acceptable for use with dark skies.

What is the lumen value of full sunlight?

About 93 lumens per watt of radiant flux are produced by direct sunshine. At sea level, intense sunshine illuminates a perpendicular surface with an illumination of roughly 98 000 lux (lumens per square metre), according to the formula 1050 watts per square metre x 93 lumens per watt.
