FAQs about Sena 50R Motorcycle Jog Dial Communication Bluetooth Headset
The Sena 50R: is it water-resistant?
Thankfully, the Sena 50R’s inside remains mostly unchanged, despite being waterproof.
What is the Sena 50R Bluetooth’s range?
Group Mesh Intercom, Multi-Channel Open Mesh Intercom, and Bluetooth Intercom are the three intercom modes available on the 50R. You may set up a single, private group on Group Mesh that can accommodate up to 24 riders across a distance of up to 5 miles / 8 km (minimum 6 riders at intervals of 1 mile / 1.6 km)!
What is the communication range of Sena?
Four-way communication is possible over a 900-meter (half-mile) range using Bluetooth 3.0 technology. You may adjust the volume level of any audio source to suit your preferences, and Advanced Noise ControlTM makes sure that busy outdoor situations won’t interfere. Integrated audio prompts help you with setup and usage in the interim.
How does one put a Sena 50R on a helmet?
Using the clamp kit, double-sided glue, or the hook and loop fasteners that come with the package, the 50R may be attached to a helmet. Three different kinds of microphones are included with the 50S: wired, wired boom, and boom microphones.
How long does the Sena 50r take to charge?
You can use the Mesh IntercomTM for 3.5 hours or the Bluetooth intercom for 6 hours after just 20 minutes of plugging it in. An hour is all it takes to fully charge the device, which offers 8 hours of Mesh communication or 13 hours of Bluetooth intercom talk time!
Is there noise cancellation on Sena?
Presenting the FIRST INTELLIGENT NOISE-CONTROLTM HELMET IN HISTORY. Sena’s innovative INC noise-cancelling motorcycle helmet uses high-tech solutions to tackle practical problems and offer the ideal riding environment on open roads.
Would you recommend the Sena 50r?
There is no denying the HD audio. Although these are still headphone speakers, they are far superior to my SMH5. Having a radio is handy in case I’m traveling in an area with severe weather, but I don’t think I’ll use it much otherwise. The ability to pair the headset with various Bluetooth devices is also a good feature.
How is a Sena 50r charged?
By inserting the included USB power and data cable into a computer’s USB port or using a USB wall charger, you may charge the headset and the Handlebar Remote. The devices may be charged using any common micro USB cord. When the charging LEDs are fully charged, they change blue, and while they are charging, they turn red.
What is the best Sena?
The Sena 10R receives top accolades for 2023. This venerable platform has demonstrated that it can handle basic Bluetooth operations. All of the benefits of Bluetooth—music, calls, chat, and directions—come in a fantastic entry-level package. A good alternative for Cardo compatibility is the Freecom 4X.
How is the Sena communication network operated?
A user is instantly linked to other users in the same Mesh network who are nearby when they enable Mesh Intercom. With its multi-channel protocol, Open Communication—also referred to as Open Mesh Intercom—allows users to speak with other headset users on different channels.
