FAQS Frigidaire Gallery Electric Range

What is the Frigidaire Gallery Electric Range?

The Frigidaire Gallery Electric Range is a line of electric stoves and ovens manufactured by Frigidaire. These ranges are designed to provide various cooking features and options for homeowners and are part of the Frigidaire Gallery appliance collection, known for its modern design and advanced features.

Is the Frigidaire Gallery Electric Range equipped with a convection oven?

Some Frigidaire Gallery Electric Range models are equipped with a convection oven, while others may have a traditional standard oven. A convection oven uses a fan to circulate hot air inside the oven, resulting in more even and faster cooking. If your range has a convection feature, it is typically labeled as “Convection” or “True Convection.” Check the product specifications or the user manual to determine if your specific model includes a convection oven.

Can I adjust the oven racks in my Frigidaire Gallery Electric Range?

Yes, most Frigidaire Gallery Electric Ranges allow you to adjust the oven racks to different positions to accommodate various cooking needs. The oven racks are designed to be removable and can be placed on different support levels inside the oven cavity. This flexibility allows you to position the racks higher or lower, depending on the size of the cookware or the type of cooking you’re doing.

Is the Frigidaire Gallery Electric Range equipped with a warming drawer?

Some Frigidaire Gallery Electric Range models may come with a warming drawer, while others may not. A warming drawer is a separate compartment located beneath the oven that keeps cooked food warm without cooking it further. If your specific model has a warming drawer, it will typically be labeled as such on the product specifications or the user manual.

Do I need to use an Air Fry tray to get the best results?

We recommend using our ReadyCook™ Air Fry Tray. It allows you to get that delicious, crunchy texture, faster than dark nonstick bakeware.

What is Air Fry?

Air Fry allows you to make healthier, crispy and delicious meals for the entire family – right in your oven.

Is ceramic or glass top?

Glass

Does this range have a downdraft vent

There’s no external exhaust vent

Why does my oven smoke when I use the broil setting?

Broiling is direct heat cooking and will produce some smoke. If smoke is excessive, place food further away from the element. Watch food to prevent burning. Find more troubleshooting tips in the back of your Use & Care Guide.

This oven doesn’t work like my old one. What’s wrong?

We know adjustment isn’t always easy. As you get used to a new range, you may need to test and adjust cooking times and temperatures for recipes. Consult your Use & Care Guide for detailed instructions on how to adjust temperature or call us if you need help!
