The lightning flash with arrowhead inside the triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of an un-insulated dangerous voltage within the product’s enclosure that may be of a sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.
CAUTION RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK NO NOT OPEN To prevent the risk of electric shock, do not remove the cover (or back). There are no user-serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualified Service personnel only.

Correct Disposal of this product. This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed of with other household wastes throughout the EU. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources. To return your used device, please use the return and collection systems or contact the retailer where the product was purchased. They can take this product for environmentally safe recycling.

Battery loading: Please refer to the illustration to open the battery compartment, insert the CR 2025 battery and close the compartment
Note:
- Do not place the remote control in places that are hot and humid.
- Do not charge the batteries.
- Remove the batteries when unused for a long time.
- The battery should not be exposed to excessive heat such as direct sun, fire, or similar.
- The a danger of explosion if the battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.
Connections
- Connect the speakers with the included speaker connecting cable
- Connect to a power source, power on the speaker, then the indicator is lit.
LINE IN Input
- Press the master volume control on the active speaker or press the “LINE 1 /LINE2” button on the remote control to select LINE IN input. The indicator turns green.
- Using an audio cable to connect the audio source to the speaker.
- Play from your device and adjust the volume accordingly.
Optical and Coaxial Input
- Press the master volume control on the active speaker or press the “OPT/COX” button on the remote control to select the optical/coaxial input. The indicator turns red.
- Use optical or coaxial cable (optical cable included) to connect audio sources to your speaker.
- Play from your devices and adjust the volume accordingly.
Note:
- Only PCM signals with 44.1 KHz/48KHz can be decoded in optical and coaxial modes.
Bluetooth Input
Pairing
- Turn on the speaker and switch to Bluetooth mode by pressing the Bluetooth button on the remote control or pressing the master volume control on the back panel of the active speaker. The indicator turns blue.
- Go to the setup section on your source devices (mobile phones, tablets, etc.) and search for nearby Bluetooth devices, you will find “EDIFIER R1280DB” in the list.
- Pair your device with “EDIFIER R1280DB”.
- Play audio tracks on your device and adjust the volume to a desired level.
- To disconnect Bluetooth, press and hold the master volume control for about 2 seconds.
Note:
- Bluetooth connectivity and compatibility may be different among different source devices, depending on the software versions of source devices.
- To enjoy the full Bluetooth functions of this product, please ensure your mobile device supports A2DP and AVRCP profile.
- PIN code for connection is “0000” if needed.

Why does one of my Edifier speakers only function?
This problem is typically brought on by a turntable tracking problem. Reverse the RCA jacks on the control speaker from red to white and from white to red to determine if the problem is with the turntable or the speakers. The turntable is at fault if the problem now manifests on the opposite speaker.
How should my Edifier speakers be installed?
Slide the Bluetooth icon to the right to turn on both your speaker and Bluetooth on your device. The Edifier speaker can be found by selecting “search for devices.” In order to have the option to connect, touch and hold the speaker’s name. Choose it and enjoy the crystal-clear sound.
Why won’t my speakers from Edifier work?
Consider returning the Bluetooth chip to its default settings. To allow the capacitors to completely discharge, kindly disconnect the speakers for at least ten minutes. Reconnect the speakers’ power, choose Bluetooth as the input method, then pair your device with the speakers.
What should I do if my left speaker is broken?
Make sure the stereo system’s speaker balance is in the center position. Make sure the speaker wire is properly attached to the audio system’s rear. The speaker cable should be changed if the problem persists. Remove the speaker connectors from the stereo system if the problem is still not fixed.
