Software Installation
IMPORTANT! Please install the software before connecting the hardware.
- Step 1: Click “I Accept”. Please connect AUD200F after the software installation. You can control the display property of the adapter from the system tray icon or in “Display Property”.
Software Installation (MAC)
- Step 1: Click “DisplayLink Software Installer”.
- Step 2: Click “Continue”.
- Steps 3 and 4: Click “Continue” and Click “Agree”.
- Step 5 & 6: Click “Install” and then Click “Continue Installation”.
- Step 7: Click “Restart”.
- Steps 8 & 9: ConnectAUD200F and Go to “Displays” in “System Preferences”.
- Step 10: To move the position of a display, click and hold the display you wish to move then drag it to the desired position. If your computer is connected to more than two displays you can specify that some are mirrored and others in extended mode.

What is the purpose of the DVI cable?
DVI is only meant to transport video signals; therefore, if you’re using DVI to connect an AV source device to a TV and want sound, you’ll need to make a separate audio connection to your television.
What doesn’t DVI support?
DVI only allows video signals and does not support audio. The HDMI connection on the TV is not receiving any audio since the DVI jack on the connected device does not output audio.
What is the highest resolution that a DVI to HDMI cable can support?
It supports a maximum resolution of 2560 x 1449 @ 60 Hz for the DVI PC to HDMI monitor connection.

What is the speed of a DVI port?
A single-link DVI-D or DVI-I cable can carry 3.96 Gbit/s, with a maximum resolution of 1,920 x 1,200. Dual-link, on the other hand, contains extra pins on the connections that enable for a maximum bandwidth of 7.92 Gbit/s and a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600.
Can DVI support 4K resolution?
Due to the resolution limitation of 2560 x 1600, 4K video cannot be outputted from the DVI interface. To get 4K resolution, utilize either the HDMI or DisplayPort connections. Not all HDMI and DisplayPort devices can output 4K. Check the maximum resolution that the port can support.
