Set up your Ring Keypad in the Ring app.

Set up your Ring Keypad near your Base Station

To add devices to your Ring Alarm, it must be disarmed. If your Ring Alarm is armed, please disarm it now.

In the Ring app, tap Set Up a Device and find Ring Keypad in the Security Devices menu.

To complete the setup process, follow the in-app instructions.

Plug the Keypad into a wall outlet

Connect your Ring Keypad to your Base Station.

When prompted for the QR Code or PIN, you can find them on the back of the Keypad, on the box, or on a card inside the box.

Track the connection progress of the Keypad

Your Keypad will try to connect to your Base Station. The Keypad’s LED ring will show the progress.

Place your Keypad in a convenient location, such as near the door you use most to enter and exit your home.

POWER: You can use it plugged in or unplugged, but it connects to power using the USB power source and cable that are included.
