Musicians all around the world have flocked to MEE audio in-ear monitors since the launch of the first M6 model in 2009. Charging

A low battery is indicated by a flashing red status indicator light and a “battery low” voice notification every five minutes. Charging time is approximately 2 hours. The red status indicator light on the headset will turn blue once fully charged.

Option 1:

Using Charging Dock

Connect the dock to any powered USB port using the included micro-USB cable. The red power indicator light on the charging dock will light up. Place headset on charging dock.

Option 2: Using USB Cable

Directly connect the H6D headset to any powered USB port using the included micro-USB cable.

Pairing

Press and hold the Multifunction button for about 8 seconds until the status indicator light flashes red and blue.

Note: The headset will enter pairing mode automatically on first use or after being reset.

Open the Bluetooth menu on the device you wish to pair (usually located in Settings->Bluetooth). If needed, select “search for devices”, “pair new device”, or “refresh.”

Select “MEE audio H6” and allow pairing to complete. Use “0000” if a pin is required.

Note: It is only necessary to pair your headset once with each device.

Reconnecting to Paired Devices

The H6D stores previously paired devices and reconnects automatically with the last paired Bluetooth device when powered on.

If the headset does not connect automatically, open the Bluetooth menu on your device and select “MEE audio H6” from the Bluetooth device list.

  • Adjust the boom mic for use on the left or right ear.
  • Adjust the headband to a comfortable length.

**To start playing music, open a music app on your device and start playback.

Multipoint Functionality

Multipoint allows two Bluetooth devices to be connected to the headset simultaneously.

To use two Bluetooth devices with the H6D, first pair each one by following the pairing procedure described in the Pairing section, then power the headset off.

When powered on again, the headset will be able to connect to both devices. If one of the devices does not connect automatically, select “MEE audio H6” from the Bluetooth menu of the device.

To switch between the two connected devices, pause audio playback on the active device and start audio playback on the other connected device. It may take up to 30 seconds for the audio to switch.

Incoming calls will always take precedence over the media. The H6D will automatically activate the connected device that has an incoming call.

Clear Memory (Delete Paired Devices)

To delete all previous Bluetooth pairings from memory, first power the headset on, then press and hold the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons at the same time for 5 seconds until the status indicator light flashes pink.

A new pairing will need to be created before the H6D can be used again by following the pairing procedure described in the Pairing section.

Safety and Care

  • Clean with a soft cloth, damp with diluted soap water solution if necessary. Do not use chemical cleaners.
  • Battery performance will be severely decreased when stored in extreme temperatures: below -10°C/14°F or above 45°C/113°F including direct sunlight. The lifetime of the battery will be significantly reduced if your headset is not charged for a long time. It is recommended to charge your headset at least once a month.

Warnings

Using headphones at high volumes for extended periods of time will result in permanent hearing damage. It is advised you keep volume levels moderate to low at all times for your safety. Turn the volume all the way down after connecting your headset, then gradually increase the volume until you reach a comfortable listening level.

This device is designed and manufactured to operate within its defined design limits. Misuse may result in electric shock or fire. Read and follow these instructions carefully.

  • To prevent fire or shock hazards, do not expose this unit to rain or moisture. If the device comes in contact with liquids, quickly wipe it away. If submersed in water, do not turn the device on until completely dried.
    Note: Liquid submersion voids the warranty.
  • The danger of explosion or fire if batteries are damaged. Keep away from direct sunlight, naked flames, flammable gasses, or heat sources such as radiators or stoves There are no user-replaceable/reparable parts in the headset. Disassembling it will void your warranty.
  • Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer Changes or modifications to this unit not expressly approved by MEE Audio could void the user’s authority to operate the equipment.
