Important Safety Instructions
Do not connect equipment during an electrical storm. Do not use the product near water. Do not locate the product near flame, ignition, or heat sources. Ensure the coax cable attached to the device is in good physical shape and properly tightened to the unit. Do not block ventilation openings. Never stand it on soft furnishings or carpets. In areas with a high number of power surge events, additional power surge protection may be required. For models equipped with telephone service: Telephones should be connected directly to a telephony modem. Only a professional installer may connect the telephony modem to the home’s existing telephone wiring.
Physical connections to the previous telephone provider must be removed. Failure to do so may cause hazardous conditions, loss of service, and/or permanent damage.
